Another year, another Portencross Castle Art Show.
This year, the Art Show will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June, 11.00am – 4.00pm both days.
Entry will be £1 for adults.
If you are exhibiting, just visiting, or looking for an addition to your own wonderful art collection, we look forward to seeing you at the Castle. Do bring along friends and family – everyone is welcome.
We are delighted to feature at this year’s show the winners of an art competition held by West Kilbride Primary School. The artwork of the winning entries at each primary stage (P1-P7) will be on show. Thanks to the children taking part, to the headteacher, Gemma Carson, to Nikki Finlayson, and to all the staff who are helping to make the competition a success. The competition is sponsored by Friends of Portencross Castle as part of its community involvement. Thanks also for the generosity and support of the May Lockhart Trust.
Of course, the artists are essential to the success of the weekend, and we thank them in advance. Instructions for exhibiting can be seen by clicking this link (Info for artists 2024). We would be delighted if you can offer a piece of artwork as a raffle prize.
And, of course, volunteer helpers are always welcome. The Art Show helps raise funds to keep the Castle open for visitors and the community at large.
