Portencross Castle took part this year in the Ayrshire Doors Open Days on 14th and 15th September. Visitors enjoyed the usual treats of seeing the Castle and its surrounds. They enjoyed hearing about its history, seeing the vaulted ceiling in the Great Hall, and enjoying the spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde from the roof.
As usual, our enthusiastic stewards welcomed people with open arms as well as open doors!
